This work denounces contemporary structures of racism and colonialism that, rooted in history, persist within the LGBTQIA+ community. It also alludes to historical cannibalistic practices and the fetishization of racialized bodies, through which they have been subjected since their introduction in the Americas and the Caribbean, being kidnapped, enslaved, and objectified in every possible way, both materially and spiritually.

I lie naked on a table covered with tropical fruits from Latin America, the Caribbean, and Africa. The attendees, mostly gay white men, are invited to eat until their consumption leaves my body fully exposed.
